Seasonal Eating for Health

The fall season brings us a new assortment of abundant and healthy fruits and vegetables. These fresh foods are not only tasty but can help us feel better and get healthier.

While we can typically find just about any type of fruit or vegetable throughout the year, fall seasonal eating provides heartier and larger produce that tends to last longer than its summer cousins. Soups, stews, sweet potatoes, apples, beets, squash, and kale (to name just a few) are packed with powerful nutrients that nourish body and spirit.

Other ways to nurture yourself include practices that support emotional, mental, and spiritual health. If you are looking for ways to develop or expand your own self-care practices, contact me.
