As you can imagine, I get my fair share of questions about which gemstones a person should work with for a specific situation or condition. As a crystal healer, you may think I will (or should) have the answer, but I can guarentee you that I probably won't. Sure, I can offer suggestions. And yes, I have books and resources that discuss the healing properties of just about every stone or crystal you've ever heard of (and probably some you haven't). But bottom line, I won't give a definitive answer because I can't.
One of the most curious things I've come to discover in my many years of healing work is that all of us (me included) would absolutely love someone to wave a magic wand and "poof" our maladies out of existence. Of course, it simply doesn't work that way.
When it comes to healing, and especially healing with crystals and gemstones, we can only move forward when we stop dead in our tracks and learn to sit still with a rock. Why? Because it is only in this place of solitude and silence where we become aware of the mysterious healing power that the stones have to offer.
So, I say work with stones. Talk to them, and let them talk back. Take note of how you feel when you carry them, or sleep with them under your pillow, or as they sit next to you at work. Befriend them. Let them befriend you. And heal.
