Essential Oils: Good For You And Smell Good Too!

Updated: Oct 7, 2021

These days, you don't have to search hard to find a lotion, soap or candle scented with the amazing fragrances of lavender, spruce, lemon or eucalyptus. The healing benefits of essential oils (which by the way have been used for millennia) have made a comeback and can now be easily found in homes and workplaces alike.

Some essential oils are uplifting and calming, while others help us ramp up our immune system to stay healthy. Granted, the quality of essential oils is critical for the health-related effects they have, which is why I only work with pure essential oils.

Knowing how to properly use essential oils is an absolute must! Some essential oils are gentle, generally regarded as safe, and can be applied directly to the skin or diffused into the air. Other oils are stronger (cinnamon, thyme and clove come to mind) and often need to be diluted before they are used.

With so many essential oils available, you may wonder where to start. To help you a bit, here are my Top 3 Essential Oils:

#1 Lavender - An overall balancing and calming oil. Use it to de-stress and unwind. It's gentle enough to use with kids, the elderly, and those who are ill.

#2 Peppermint - This invigorating oil is amazing at helping to increase alertness, and it can be very beneficial for calming an upset stomach.

#4 Eucalyptus - Stuffed up? Achy muscles? This is the oil for you! Diffuse it or dilute with a carrier oil (olive, grapeseed, jojoba, canola) and rub it on your chest or sore muscles.

You can find both single and blended pure essential oils to meet any need you may have. Learn more here . . .
